Election of Steering Committee of NRP 68
On 15 August, the Presiding Board of the National Research Council of the Swiss National Science Foundation elected the members of the Steering Committee of the National Research Programme "Sustainable Use of Soil as a Resource" (NRP 68). For the duration of the NRP, the seven members of the Committee will be responsible for the scientific monitoring of research projects and the implementation of results.
The members of the Steering Committee all participated in the international evaluation panel which assessed the pre-proposals. Next, the Committee will assess the full proposals, which are to be submitted by 4 September.
Further experts from the areas of agricultural economics, ecosystem functions, social economics or land use may join the Committee at a later stage.
