Workshop of the "Soil maps" project

Using digital soil mapping (DSM) methods, the "Soil maps" project produces high-resolution maps of soil properties. With the aid of statistical analysis, the research team has linked the available soil data with contiguous spatial information on soil formation factors to produce maps of soil properties. These maps are used for the spatial assessment of soil functions. The scientists will present their results during the workshop and discuss the potential of DSM methods for generating spatial soil information.
