Closing event of the International Year of Soils
The international day of soils on 5 December marks the end of the International Year of Soils 2015. At an event to be attended by important personages from politics, administration and research, Switzerland will conclude the International Year of Soils.

In Switzerland, the closing event will take place on 3 December in the presence of the National Councillors Jacques Bourgeois and Stefan Müller-Altermatt, the director of the FOEN Bruno Oberle as well as the president of the Steering Committee of NRP 68 Professor Emmanuel Frossard. At the event, prizes will be awarded to the winners of the photo competition for the International Year of Soils and the school project competition launched by the Swiss Farmers' Union.
